The Ledyard High School Athletics Schedule for the Week of February 16. Many of our teams are winding down the regular season slate, while others are already in or entering post season competition this week. This week also includes senior night celebrations for competitive cheerleading, boys basketball and girls basketball.
Last week was a big week for our Colonels with ECC team titles won in girls wrestling (tournament), girls basketball (division), wrestling (division and tournament), gymnastics (division and tournament) as well as an individual Class M state title from pole vaulter Eva DiGarbo #LHScolonelpride

Good Morning Colonels. Due to expected weather (snow/ice) coming into the region this evening, I have made some changes to the athletics schedule:
1. Freshman boys basketball at home vs Griswold is cancelled. There is no freshman boys basketball practice today.
2. Junior Varsity boys basketball at home vs Griswold will now start at 3:45pm
3. Varsity boys basketball at home vs Griswold will now start at 5:15pm
4. The JV and V girls basketball games at Windham have been postponed to Friday February 13 at 5:00pm and 6:30pm (bus leaves LHS at 3:30pm)
All LHS athletics practices will end by 7:00pm this evening.

Good afternoon. As a reminder, the ECC Indoor Track & Field Championships which will be held at the USCGA on Saturday February 7 at 5:00pm (Ledyard will compete in the ECC DII championships). The team buses will leave Ledyard HS at 3:30pm.
ID Requirements:
Spectators must comply with the REAL ID requirements to enter the Coast Guard Academy. Spectators will not be allowed onto the base even if they have already purchased a ticket without a REAL ID. Tickets will not be refunded if spectators do not meet the REAL ID requirements.
As with the ECC Developmental Meets, the bus drivers and coaches will also have to be REAL ID compliant, but individual athletes on the buses will not be checked.
Ticket Information:
Tickets will be available only through Go Fan. Tickets will go on sale for both Division I and II Championship Sessions on Thursday February 5th at 6:00am

We will travel to the Jack Long Invite on Saturday January 31 at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. The meet starts at 5:00pm. The team bus will leave Ledyard HS at 3:00pm. Coach Williams has notified the athletes that will be attending (not everyone on the roster is attending the meet on Saturday). Parent/Guardian spectators are welcome and the cost for admission is $7.00 per spectator.
