Homecoming Dance. The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, October 11, from 6:30-9:30pm. The dress code is semi-formal (no jeans!), and students in all grades are welcome to attend. Please note: there is no formal coat check room this year. Think carefully about what you bring in with you, as it will be your responsibility all night.

Homecoming Guest Forms. Only juniors and seniors may bring guests who do not attend LHS to the Homecoming Dance. Juniors and seniors wishing to bring an out of school guest, under the age of 21, to Homecoming must complete the guest permission form prior to purchasing a ticket.  Please pick up a form at the APO.

Homecoming Tickets. Homecoming ticket sales begin Wednesday, October 1. Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased with cash or check (payable to Ledyard High School). Guest tickets may not be purchased without guest form approval. In order to purchase a ticket, students must be in positive academic and attendance standing. Ticket sales end Wednesday, October 8.

Hoco Closet. Need a dress for Homecoming?  Check out LHS's Prom Closet for Hoco. These dresses are FREE for the taking for you to KEEP or RETURN.  There are styles and sizes of dresses for everyone.  The HOCO Closet is located in the 100's corner by the stairwell, and you're welcome to visit it during lunch until the big dance on October 11.

LHS College, Trade School, Military & Employment Opportunity Fair. You're invited this Wednesday, October 1, from 6:30-8:00pm to this free event. This is a valuable chance to meet directly with representatives from colleges, trade schools, military branches, and employers. Come explore your options and get answers to your questions about life after high school—whether you're planning on college, job training, military service, or jumping right into a career. Attendees should register at StriveFair.com in advance. Once registered, you'll be able to see, in real time, which institutions will be attending. The list is changing daily. The day of the fair, you’ll receive a barcode that you can share with institutions. This allows them to access your information, and you’ll receive theirs in return. The day after the fair, you'll receive an email listing all the schools you shared your information with. To register, you only need your name and email—all other information is optional. Your information is not sold or shared.
