SY26-27 Open House Dates for Ledyard Public Schools

2026 Fall Sports Registration is now open online through Arbiter Sports/Family ID. All students must be registered and approved before participating in a practice or try-out. Once you are on the registration site, you will find pertinent dates for our athletic department fall sports meeting (Thursday August 13 at 7pm at Ledyard High School) as well as the start dates for our fall athletic programs (Football-August 13th, All other Fall Sports-August 24th).

Please note, your registration for summer athletics participation does not fulfill your requirement to register and be approved for fall sports participation. All summer (Season 4) athletic offerings will end on Friday August 7th.

BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

Please be sure that our school nursing staff has an updated physical (students physical must be within the last 13 months from the start date of fall sports which is August 13th for football and August 24th for all other sports) on file. You can also upload the physical into our registration site. A pay to participate fee ($100) will need to accompany your child's registration in order to complete the registration process online.

REGISTRATION PROCESS:

A parent/guardian should register by clicking on this link:

Follow these steps:

1. To find your program, click on the link provided by the Organization above and select the registration form under the word Programs.

2. Next click on the green Register Now button and scroll, if necessary, to the Create Account/Log In green buttons. If this is your first time using Family ID (now Arbiter Sports), click Create Account. Click Log In, if you already have an existing account.

3. Create your secure Family ID account by entering the account owner First and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address and password. Select I Agree to the Family ID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.

4. You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your Email filters (spam, junk, etc.).

5. Click on the link in your activation Email, which will log you in to FamilyID.com

6. Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red* are required to have an answer.

7. Click the Continue button when your form is complete.

8. Review your registration summary.

For credit or debit card payment through Arbiter/Family ID (Stripe):

10. Click the green Pay & Submit button

11. On the next screen, click on Proceed to Payment to be directed to the payment processor (Stripe).

12. In Stripe, you may use a credit or debit card to process your payment. Input the cardholder’s full name, the card number, expiration date and CVC code.

13. After you click Pay, you will receive a completion email from the payment processor confirming your payment and an email from Arbiter/Family ID confirming your registration.

At any time, you may login to update your information and to check your registration(s). Please note, in order to be approved for F/R lunch (and have the pay to participate fee waived), you must complete the necessary paperwork with our central office and be listed on Addendum A. If you are not listed on Addendum A through the Central Office, you will not be approved for a payment waiver. To view a completed registration, select the 'Registration' tab on the blue bar. You will receive notification from me via email (directly to the email you utilized for registration) if you are missing items and are not approved or if your child has been approved for the season. Students must be approved before participating and/or trying out for a team.
